Spitting Candle Warmers?

Recommended Posts

I'm buying a candle warmer and was looking at some online, just the little flat electric ones, and some of the reviews say if they leave the candle very long it starts spitting wax. They're blaming it on the warmer, but I thought I'd ask here, is it the candle or the warmer making the candle spit? I don't want to buy a warmer that does that, but if it's the candle then I'm going with that store.

tl;dr: Is it the candle's fault or the warmer's fault when there is wax flying? :tongue2:

Never heard of this - I use the little electric warmers and have it on all day and have never had a problem. I got mine from Michael's - just your basic cheapo but it's been working for probably 6-8 yrs.
