Sharon in KY
Everyday, most times it does not lose any scent throw. That is if you remelt for a short time.

miagracie
Do you remelt it as if you were making new tarts up to the 180 or so for the fragrance? Do you add the same amount of fragrance (say 10%) as if you were making new/fresh tarts?

If I have wax left over after coloring and scenting and I am not using it. I will remelt to about 130* and pour into another mold.. The wax is not new wax it's already had FO added once. You could add a little more scent if it's not strong enought. But it may start to leak if you add to much.
redraider
I have some tarts left over that I made for last Christmas sales. I really hate to sell them because they are were made last year. Would it be possible to remelt them and mix with new wax, color and oil. Maybe 50/50 to refresh them?

I had a few leftovers, and while they seemed to smell fine, I had the same worry - I did as you're thinking and they turned out great. Go for it!
