ksranch
In my searches most of the posts were 4/2011 or older but the opinion was Vanilla, floral, citrus, and cucumber melon. I've got Japanese Cherry Blossom for a floral, but can some of you lotion/butter makers suggest what else sells well? Now that I have my recipes down I'm ready to roll, but am having trouble deciding. (I've only got 100 or so to choose from ) TIA for all suggestions!ETA - or if you don't sell lotion - what scent lotion do you buy?? ProudMarineMom
For lotion I do well with Bergamot and Violet, Yuzu and Egyptian Musk. Body Butter is Blissful Blackberry, Plumberry and Honey L'Occitane.

justajesuschick
I like clean scents like lavender/rosemary and also those in the laundry category such as Flannel Sheets. I recently bought a large bottle of White Cake. It smells more like Cake Bake. VERY almond-y. I made some melts with it but it finished sweet/soapy when melted. Rather than toss the FO I am planning to try it in an unscented lotion I have. I do that successfully with Flannel Sheets.
mulberrysoap
Lavender is always a great choice, Rose scents work really well also. Then a clean fresh scent will be unisex.

rctfavr3
I'm really liking citrus+mint fragrances at the moment. Might want to do one of those!? Would be good for a lotion. Edited August 26, 2012 by rctfavr3
Sharon in KY
I usually buy unscented but.. I love a good coconut, vanilla bean noel but B&BW's is way too strong. Paris B&BW's first one, Sweat Pea , Chanel #5 maybe a light berry or strawberries and cream. I love SW's London Lemon Curd in a lotion. hth

blacktieaffair
Other than the "usual ones" , Black Linen and Amber, Rosemary Mint and a pineapple / peppermint I make did extremely well.
